AIA's Weekend Intensives are 2 or 3 day courses that are specifically designed to change the course of an actor's career in just one weekend. The Extravaganza Series is designed for actors who are committed to one day of intense study, practice, and performance with agents, managers and casting professionals.

What you can expect to get out of this Intensive:
Pilot Season is one of the busiest times of the year. Last year approximately 120 pilots were shot in Los Angeles. Pilot Season is in full swing by the end of January. Many of the casting directors that teach at AIA tell us they would like to connect with actors prior to the launch of this busy season. Based on this, AIA Studios has decided to hold our annual Pilot Season Weekend Intensive in November. This will provide you the opportunity to build relationship with industry professionals before they start to picture who they want to bring in for their pilots. earn first hand what it takes to book your next television pilot.
You will walk out of this weekend fully knowledgeable about the entertainment business and how to successfully audition for a pilot. You will receive one-on-one attentive training and development from industry professionals who are experts in their field and are also currently working in the entertainment industry. You will be guided in developing, creating, and implementing a one-year plan of action with The Studio's Artistic Director.
What you can expect to get out of this Extravaganza:
In this 1-Day event you will learn from, perform for and connect with 4 Managers and Agents who specifically represent HOSTS. You will have the opportunity to perform for and meet with each guest, and receive instant feedback! You must prepare an introduction and host copy not to exceed 3 minutes. You will also have the opportunity to perform your 2 minute monologue or prepared scene for each agent, and receive valuable feedback on your performance.
Are you looking for commercial representation? Do you have the right team behind you to help champion your career? In this Extravaganza you will have the opportunity to see and learn from eight Commercial agents, in just one day! Hear from all eight agents about their experience in the industry and what they look for in their clients. You will also have the opportunity to perform commercial copy that will be provided to you, and receive valuable feedback on your performance
